WHAT IS THE NEW DROP OFF / PICK UP PROCESS?

To streamline the entry/exit processes, please have your gymnast enter the facility through the side door and leave through the front door. Upon arrival, athletes and parents must take off their shoes and place them in the provided baskets. Additionally, athletes are required to remove their socks before entering the gym area.

CAN I SWITCH ADULTS EACH WEEK FOR THE WIGGLETUNES CLASS?

Although we recommend keeping the accompanying adult consistent, you are permitted to switch adults as long as they have filled out the Adult Waiver Form.

WHAT ARE AGF INSURANCE AND REGISTRATION FEES?

As a gymnastics club affiliated with Alberta Gymnastics Federation all children participating must be registered with AGF prior to attending classes. This fee is set by AGF and is paid once per year. AGF's fiscal year runs July 1st - June 30th. Therefore, AGF fees paid when registering will expire June 30th.

WHY DO WE REQUIRE VOLUNTEER COMMITMENTS?

As a non profit organization we try to keep program fees affordable for our members. In order to keep operational costs down we rely on member participation to maintain our facility and help to raise funds for the Club. Our volunteer commitments include (but are not limited to) BINGO, weekly common area cleaning, monthly gym cleans and assisting with fundraiser organization. To ensure our members participate in their volunteer commitment we require a $300.00 volunteer bond cheque that will ONLY be cashed in the event the member does not fulfill their commitment. Buyout of the bond requirement will dismiss you from volunteer commitment. Wiggletunes classes are exempt for the volunteer commitment and bond cheque.

WHAT IF MY CHILD IS FEELING UNWELL?

If your child is feeling unwell, it is best for them to stay at home to rest and recover fully. This is especially important if they are experiencing symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting, fever, or any other contagious conditions. Keeping your child at home helps prevent the spread of illness to other children and staff members. Please inform us as soon as possible if your child will be absent due to illness. We prioritize the health and safety of all our participants and appreciate your cooperation.

FUNDING POLICY

At Lakeland Gymnastics Club, we accept funding to help with class registration fees. When registering, parents or guardians are required to either pay the full amount upfront or opt for monthly installments. Once the funding is received, any payments made will be promptly refunded to the account holder via e-transfer or credit card.
